This family was a joy to photograph! Miss Addison is a spunky 2 year old, with cute pigtails and makes the best 'cheeeessseee' face ever!  Meanwhile Miss Aubrey is a pretty chill newborn, with a head of beautiful dark hair. And mom and dad, Sarah and Matt just go with the flow of it all :)

Benjamin ~ Menomonee Falls, WI Newborn Photos

Benjamin is only 6 weeks old and has baby blues that will melt your heart, and can rock an aviator hat :)

I had the pleasure of working with this family before Benjamin was born for a maternity photoshoot, so I was thrilled when they contacted me to take his newborn photos! He was wide awake and alert the entire photoshoot and was a great little model. Check out a sneak peek of a few of my favorites

Big News!

I am so excited to share this post with you today :) This re-design project has been a labor of love for the past 4 months and I am so thrilled with how it has turned out. 

When I first delved into photography two and a half years ago, it was somewhat with an unorganized, go with the flow business plan.  I didn't really have a logo/brand that represented me and what I was doing/wanted to do.  But at the time, that's what worked for lack of resources and time.  
 

This adventure has truly become my passion and I love what I do more and more everyday, and I wanted my website/logo/brand to represent me and how I wanted people to view my work.  

 

Soooo....drumroll please!  

 

I enlisted the help of an AMAZING graphic designer...Kristina of Kristina Kathrynn Photography and Design understood exactly what I was looking for and was great to work with.  She produced an amazing collection of items that I feel I can be proud to give out to my clients and define my brand. 
 

So from that amazing collection she created for me, I decided to take on the task of creating myself a website.  It was a rocky start, as I am NOT a web developer and those codes mean absolutely nothing to me, but again, there is the labor of love I refer to :)

 

I am so excited with all the changes that have gone on this fall, and I can't wait for this venture to continue to grow.  Thank you to all of the amazing people I have had the privilege of working with this year, it is truly because of you that I have been able to continue to pursue photography, word of mouth does wonders :)

Melanie Brooke ~ Burlington, WI Newborn Photos

Meet Miss Melanie Brooke...future dancer and possibly singer with the set of pipes she has on her :)  She was a little unsure about this whole photoshoot business when I first arrived, but she came around eventually. Even Jersey got in the the photo action for a few!

Melanie's Mom Stephanie is one of my college roomates, and is also the first one of us to embark on the journey of parenthood.  Her and Dan are an amazing pair, and that will no doubt translate into being awesome parents, so Melanie is one lucky girl!

Just remember Steph and Dan, as the first to have kids, it's now your obligation to teach the rest of us how this works :) lol.

The Kahai Family ~ Naperville, IL Family Photos

I had the pleasure of traveling to Naperville, IL to photograph this amazing family last weekend!  I was so excited to work with them, Sono and Kristen have three beautiful children that were awesome in front of the camera. 

We played inside for most of the photoshoot, and ended with a few outside shots since the weather cooperated.  We even got to play with a little snow at the end :)
