Josh + Nadja ~ Minnesota Engagement Photography

This photoshoot will go down as the COLDEST photoshoot I have ever done….seriously, it was frigid, but you can't even tell in the photos because Nadja and Josh were total troopers!  I had the pleasure of meeting these two through my husband who went to college with Josh, and I was so honored when they asked me to photograph their engagement photos and wedding. 

Nadja and Josh met when they were both working at the same company in Nebraska. They were put on the same working team, and it's funny to hear them talk about it because both Nadja and Josh will say that they were not interested in the other in the slightest when they first met.  It only took a week of working with Nadja for Josh to realize what an amazing person she is.  The rest is just beautiful history, and years later they are making it official :)

For their engagement photos we explored their neighborhood in Rogers, Minnesota, and then headed over to Excelsior which is where Nadja + Josh go for fun in their free time.  They will be married in Denmark in May and I cannot wait to be a part of their wedding and experience my very first Danish wedding.  From the sounds of it, it will be one heck of a celebration!

Had to end with this set, Nadja surprised Josh with a snowball to the face during our session and looked pretty proud of herself :)

Alexandra ~ 6 months old

Miss Alexandra is 6 months old already! I can't believe how big she has gotten and she definitely had more smiles in store for us this time :)  It is so fun to see her grow through her photoshoots, and I can't wait for the next one!

Nolan ~ Kewaunee, WI Newborn Photography

Sweet little Nolan was a dream during his newborn photoshoot! I showed up to his house and he was fast asleep, and he stayed that way throughout almost the whole session :) He showed us his beautiful eyes at the end of the session, but still stayed calm and melted into all the poses we put him in!

It was so fun to work with his parents, Holly and Chris, again. You may remember their maternity session (check it out here!), and they are such an easy going couple to work with :)

Nora ~ Kewaunee, WI Children Photography

I absolutely love taking photos of this little lady every year.  She has changed so much since the last time I saw her and she is talking up a storm!  She always takes just a little bit to warm up to me and the camera :) and this year she tried reaaaallllyyyyy hard not to smile, it was pretty funny, but her Mom and Dad managed to get her to bust out laughing eventually and we captured some great shots!

We explored the Barnsite Art Studio in Kewaunee, one of my new favorite places to shoot! It's such a beautiful building, old barn wood, beautiful wood beams, and lots of natural light!  Plus it kept us out of the cold :)
