Meet Olive...she is 4 weeks old and enjoys spending her weekends in Grandma and Grandpa's gardens and exploring all the awesome flowers and looking ridiculously adorable :) 

But seriously, we had an awesome playground for Miss Olive's photoshoot, and spring has finally arrived so the flowers were in bloom!  Check out a few of my favorite's below!

Celebrating 50 years ~ Luxemburg, WI Family Photos

This lovely family was all together in the same place celebrating 50 years of blessed marriage for the heads of the household :)  Since they are all no longer living in Wisconsin near each other, it has been a long time since they had a get together like this, or a family photo for that matter.  And what better reason to do so than to celebrate love, family and 50 years strong!

I am so honored that they asked me to capture these memories, and it was truly a pleasure to meet each member of the family.  We had set on going to Hillside Apple Orchard, however, Mother Nature brought us rain and wind! They were gracious enough to invite me into their home to escape the rain and take their family photos.

Natalie + Jaena ~ Burlington, WI Children Photographer

These two keep me on my toes everything I photograph them and this session was definitely no exception to that! Seriously, they ran...and I chased with my camera, haha.  But it was nothing short of awesome! They have such personality and the biggest blue eyes I have ever seen!  We explored Bushnell Park in Burlington to start out and then ventured to the family farm to play.  I can't believe these little ladies are already over one year old!

Jaena had a pretty serious game of "he loves me, he loves me not" going on with these flowers :) 

These bubbles were literally called "Miracle Bubbles" and that's literally what they were, lol....they saved our session from going south pretty fast :)

Does it get much cuter than that?? I don't think so....

 haha, I just had to put this one on here, it basically sums up about 90% of our photoshoot, these little ladies running, and me running after! But it was awesome :)

Richardson Family ~ Des Moines, IA Family Photography

Let me tell you, as someone who has lived in the midwest her entire life, I'm usually prepared for anything mother nature feels like throwing at us.  In the weeks leading up to last weekend the weather had been beautiful, the flowers were blossoming, I was so excited for this photoshoot....and then it snowed...in MAY...not a nice surprise mother nature.

BUT, we did not let it rain on our photoshoot parade.  I was so excited for this photoshoot with the Richardson Family, I had done their photos last year as well, so I was excited to see how much Cohen had grown and they are expecting a new bundle of joy coming soon so there have been lots of exciting things going on! We decided to go to the Greater Des Moines Botanical Gardens, and then we were able to sneak outside for a few when the rainy weather let up a bit.  Cohen totally stuck it out when we got outside because it was cold!! But we had a blast exploring the botanical gardens and I'm so excited with the images!
