A wonderful couple, a castle in Denmark, great company and beautiful weather led to the perfect wedding day for Nadja + Josh. I had the pleasure of traveling to Copenhagen , Denmark to capture their love story and let me tell you, it was nothing short of amazing! In the days leading up to the wedding we got to meet Nadja's family who is from Denmark, along with Josh's family who made the trek from Nebraska for the big day, and all were the most kind, welcoming people you will ever meet. You could feel the excitement from everyone and you could tell how special this wedding was to everyone there.
It was a wonderful, intimate wedding with their family and friends who traveled from far and wide to witness the joining of these two exceptional individuals. The setting was out of this world, I can't even describe as a photographer this is like heaven! The castle provided a great history and background to their wedding photos, the chapel had the most extraordinary detail, during the cocktail hour you could view Sweden from across the water, and the reception hall had a quaint rustic feel to it.
It was evident how special Nadja + Josh are to their friends and family as heartfelt speeches commenced in between each course of dinner. I was warned before this wedding that the Danish like to party and I was not disappointed, as we left the castle at midnight and headed to the cafe across the way and the dance party started and didn't stop until 3 a.m.!
Nadja + Josh, thank you so much for allowing me to be a small part of your big day, it was truly an honor to be there to celebrate with you two! Hope you are enjoying the rest of your time in Copenhagen and have a blast at Lego Land! :)

ReplyDeleteCup cakes seem to be delicious and all other preparations are equally exceptional. Have seen a number of event space Chicago for my sister's birthday party next month. Will book one after discussing with my brother. Thinking of yellow theme for floral décor. Also thinking to order a fondant mac cake. Hope all my efforts are appreciated.
